Meet Krista:
Hello!
I'm Krista, a woman who love books, kids, coffee, school, learning, etc... My goal for this blog is to share wonderful experiences I've had while teaching my children, books that I love, and things that are along those lines! I have six children, whom I have always home-schooled. My two eldest daughters; 16 and 17, just graduated from high-school. I teach my 3 youngest children, 12, 9, and 6, and have my fourteen-year old daughter use the A Beka home-school videos. My two eldest girls, who graduated, used A Beka videos from 8th grade and up.

Since my children were little, I have loved to read to them. I have established reading to them as part of their schooling, and sometimes throughout the day. I loved school as a young girl, and am trying to establish that same love in my children's heart's as well. Reading good literature is very important, I believe. I hope to encourage my children to pick up old classics like Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Ralph Moody Series (A FAVORITE in our home), A.A. Milne, etc... rather than Twilight or other modern fiction books.
